Cleaning a micro-fibre couch, i learnt, is quite easy, but not without leaving watermarks all over your couch. Every single wet stain is a near disaster. Not to worry, this is a simple way to clear off the stains completely. Your couch will now look brand new again, and you don’t have to worry again, when those wet stains get on your couch. All you need:
-Deodorizing Wipes or baby wipes
-Hard Bristle Scrubbing Brush
-Hair dryer (optional)
First, to just clean a microfiber couch:
1.) Poor rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Spray liberally. You will want the fabric damp. Them take the white cloth and scrub the couch. This will get the dirt and grime off the couch. This step allows you to see what stains are actually water stains! Once you’re done it should look like:
You can see the couch before normal cleaning and then after below. Dirt stains gone. Water stains worse.
2] Now here is where the magic comes in, using Deodorizing Wipes or baby wipes. It is important to saturate the stains or you will have to do it a second time. Then if you choose, take your blow dryer and dry the area evenly. It will end up looking like:
