When I was overweight I would often look in the mirror and feel like I didn’t know the girl that was looking back. Almost like my physical being wasn’t an accurate representation of who I was in my mind. I dreamed of being the thin, petite girl I know I could be, but looking back at me in the mirror I saw a monster.
