DEITRICK HADDON WOULDN’T LOVE HIS FUTURE SON TO FOLLOW IN HIS CAREER CHOICE.
Deitrick Haddon is expecting his first son towards the end of this year, August-September specifically, after his first two daughters and is really excited that its a boy. He recently told Oxygen that he does not expect His future son who he plans to name Deitrick Haddon Jr. to pursue a career in the gospel music industry.
“I’m not putting the pressure on him to be a singer or TV star. He doesn’t have to do any of those things,” Haddon told Oxygen. “I’ll tell him that whatever he does, he has to be great. I’m going to push him to be great by giving him an education and laying down a foundation, and then I’m going to watch him grow.”
However, if Deitrick Haddon Jr. decides to follow in his footsteps, Deitrick is prepared to warn him against it.
“I’ll say ‘get outta here! Be a doctor or a lawyer! Don’t do what your daddy did,”. “Okay, if he tells me that he was called to it, that he wakes up and goes to sleep thinking about it, then I’ll surrender and help him get a good head start. But, gospel music is not an easy career choice.”
Well, with all the scandals and roughness Deitrick’s gospel ministerial and musical career has experienced, from his divorce and remarraige, to his nude photos expose, and all sorts, especially considering his emphasis on the reason for the reality tv show, Preachers of L’A, which he says is out to show the world that preachers are humans just like the rest of us who aren’t perfect and inexcusable like many think and are liable to make certain mistakes in their journey to success, I guess we understand his protective fear.
And from Dominique his present wife, she said “Well, the Lord heard my prayers for a son to bless my hubby with and He yet listened and gave us the desire of our hearts! Most importantly, I’m glad he’s growing normally and very active,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thankful for this new experience of being a mother of a son! Excited my girls will have a little brother to grow up with!”
We’re happy for Deitrick and his family aren’t we? well, I am.
